Dictation week 2

Trifle, apples and a pickle- 2
In the middle of the jungle a table stood in a puddle.  The table had some trifle, a case of apples and a pickle.  A beetle longed for the trifle, some cattle longed for the case of apples and a bumblebee longed for the pickle.  When the animals ate the food, it made them giggle, gargle, tremble and sniffle.  They were baffled and puzzled as to why the food was odd.  The animals huddled together and grumbled about their rumbling and grumbling bellies.

What do you pray for?

I pray

Dear God,
When we open our eyes, may You be there;
When we open our ears, may You be there;
When we open our mouths, may You be there;
When we open our books, may You be there.

Help us to see with Your eyes;
Help us to hear with Your ears;
Help us to speak Your truth in love;
Help us to make time for You ... for others ... for ourselves.
Amen

The Lost Son/ Prodigal Son Stories

The Prodigal son

The Third Parable: The Lost Son

Week 1 Dictation

Apples Samples at the market- 1
There were ample samples of ripe apples at the morning market.  The apples were packed in stapled cases.  It was a disaster when someone picked up one of the cases and all the other cases of apples began to topple.  Now the apples had dimples and ripples in them.  Some of the apples were even rumpled and crumpled.  Now that market will need more samples of apples.
