Clyde's Story
To celebrate the Glasgow Games, Year 3 will be participating in some fun Commonwealth Games competitions. Due date is Friday, 1st August.
Write the Athletes Oath in cursive.
Use ‘Create a Graph’ to show some data being displayed during the Games. It could be number of Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for Australia or top 10 medal winning countries.
Make an A-Z of words that have something to do with the Games.
Create a timeline of all the host cities of the Commonwealth Games.
Write and sing a catchy song that will inspire our athletes to win gold. Perhaps even use ‘Video Star’ to make the final presentation.
Make a poster of one of the athletes we will be watching in Glasgow.
Complete the colouring competition.
Create a brochure showing the best tourist attractions of Scotland.
Create a scrapbook of the Games highlights.
