Peter was Loyal
When Jesus asked Peter to leave his fishing business behind and follow
him, he did so without question.
Peter was Brave
Peter was the first to defend Jesus when the temple guards came to
arrest Him. Later, when Jesus was
taken away, he denied knowing Him.
Peter was a man of action
Peter did what he thought was right. Sometimes he made mistakes and doubted the power of Jesus.
After Jesus died and his body was put into a tomb, Mary Magdalene came
and told Simon Peter that the stone had been removed from the entrance. Peter came running to find out where
Jesus was.
Peter was Forgiven
Even though Peter denied knowing Jesus 3 times, Jesus forgave him. Jesus asked Peter if he loved Him. Peter replied 3 times Yes, Lord I love
you.
Peter was a leader
When Jesus returned to heaven Peter continued to spread God’s message.
