Support St. Mary's Beaudesert- Winners!

We wore free dress to support St. Mary's Beaudesert after a fire recently.  They would appreciate the support of giving 'apples' to their school through the Staffroom for Improvement website.  To choose the school you wish to support type in Beaudesert and St. Mary's will appear.  Give 'apples' everyday.  It closes on today at 12pm and currently they are in second place.

Do the surveys.  They give the most points.

Thank you for your support.  St. Mary's won the competition.

Earth

Earth is the third planet from the sun.  It is a rocky planet that is the only one we know to have life and liquid water.  The Earth rotates every twenty-four hours.  This means that when the Earth is facing the sun it is daytime and when it is not it is night.  The Earth is tilted on an axis.  This means that when the Earth is tilted toward the sun it is Summer and when it is tilted away from the sun it is Winter.  Places near the equator are always warm and the North and South Pole are always cold.

My nephew’s trophy- 9
My nephew used his phone to take a photograph of an orphaned elephant.  It was such a fantastic photo that my nephew won a trophy.  At the awards night, my nephew had to talk into a microphone to say how he had taken the photograph.  He explained simply that he was on a trip when he saw an orphaned elephant.  He reached for his phone and took the photo before the frightened orphaned elephant was able to flee.
